August 2016 Holden Beach Fishing Report
5-24-17 END OF MAY FISHING REPORT.
This month has been really good for catching BIG bottom fish offshore. Grouper season opened May 1st and it's been on just about every time we get offshore. The King Mackerel have made their annual migration up the beach from down south and there has been good action from near the beach to 15 miles offshore. BIG SHARKS and Spanish Mackerel have been keeping our customers busy on the 1/2 day Nearshore trips. 5-1-2017 The big Cobia and King Mackerel are cruising our Beaches.

4-19-17 APRIL FISHING REPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have truly been blessed over the last few weeks with great weather and fishing! Gulf Stream fishing is getting better by the day. MONSTER Wahoo, Blackfin and Mahi are showing in good numbers. FULL DAY trips are producing King Mackerel while we're trolling and the bottom fishing is always good. Big Black Bass, Snappers, Grunts, Grouper, Jacks. 3/4 and 1\2 Day offshore trips are also producing King Mackerel, Big Chopper Bluefish, and good numbers of bottom fish. Don't hesitate to give us a call. I'll do everything I can to make sure your trip is a good one. 9-16-16. THE MONSTER DRUM ARE HERE.
We are now catching double digit numbers of Monster Bull Drum. Great action this morning aboard the Rigged and Ready. Our largest fish was just over 45 inches. These fish are great fighters and really make for a good picture. The King Mackerel are about to show up any day so don't wait to long to call and book your trip. We are booking up fast for October.

9-21-16. Citation Sized Spanish Mackerel on the Nearshore Reefs.
Whheeeeeewww. We've had a long hot summer with high water temperatures in the upper 80's to 90's. On top of that the bait fish have been nowhere to be found. That's making the fishing difficult but we are managing to pull out some really good days of fishing.. Over the past week or so the bait has started to show up and we're targeting Citation Sized Spanish Mackerel on the Nearshore Reefs. The Flounder also have been biting making our 1/2 day Nearshore Charters very Promising.
