Hey guys!!! Quick report. Ive been on the water for the past few days and the Spanish Mackeral, and BIG SHARKS are chewing like Bull Dogs right off the beach. The King Mackeral have showed up as well but are not as consistant. Its a hit or miss. Big Cobia are moving in on the near-shore reefs and can be caught while fishing for King Mackeral or we can specifically target them with live bait or artificials. The weather looks a little ruff offshore this week but don’t let that stop you from catching some big fish near the beach. Gulfstream fishing has been on fire and continues to get better and better as summer time approaches with double digit catches of Mahi- Mahi with a hand full of wahoo in the 30 to 50 lb class mixed in.

5-7-12 Half Day Offshore

What a great day we had today. We originally were targeting big cobie near a reef right offshore when a huge bull red drum ate one of our baits. This fish was landed on 20lb test mono and put up a great fight. We took a picture, threw high fives and realesed her. I love seeing big fish like that realesed to live to fight another day.
